For the person who keeps saying, “I don’t know what I’m doing.”

You feel called to connect with your ancestors, but you’re not sure where to begin. Maybe you’ve wondered if you need an altar, what you’re supposed to say, whether you know enough about your lineage, or if you’re doing any of this “right.”

Before the Altar is a beginner friendly class designed to help you understand the foundation of ancestral practice before worrying about all the things you think you need.

We’ll explore what ancestral practice really means, who your ancestors are, how to begin building a relationship with them, and simple ways to acknowledge and connect with them even if you don’t have an altar yet.

You do not need to know your entire family history.
You do not need to have all the tools.
You do not need to have everything figured out.

You just need somewhere to begin.

Before you build the altar, build the relationship.

Class will be held on October 17th 2026 at 7:00pm 

Each participant will receive a zoom link via email closer to class time.
